Headteacher Supervision Sessions
Headteachers don’t have to go through coaching alone.
As one very important part of bespoke and relevant CPD, Coach for School Improvement offers group supervision for headteachers. Supervised by our founder, Mary-Jo Hill, the groups have a maximum of six heads that meet five times across the year.
Supervision sessions are regular, pre-planned meetings where work performance is discussed in a systematic manner. The emphasis is on encouraging an open dialogue with a view to maximizing reflective practice and learning.
Why do it?
Headteachers hold a lot for others and are expected to be all things to many people. It is important to have confidential time to address the issues that can keep one awake at night with peers that are in the same situation.
